If there's a brand that knows how to keep its customers happy, it's Simyo. Simyo is a mobile provider offering mobile subscriptions, sim‑only, and prepaid services. They focus on transparent rates and straightforward, customer‑oriented services. It's no coincidence that they've been voted the Best Mobile Provider by the ‘Consumentenbond’ 30 times. It's a victory that we've had the pleasure of celebrating with them regularly during our more than 10 years of collaboration.

A Decade of Innovation and Growth

In the summer of 2023 we celebrated our 10‑year collaboration with Simyo. In those 10 years, there have been many moments of celebration, but there has also been a lot of hard work: from designing and developing the website, app, customer portal, and shop, to numerous enhancements and, most recently, the brand‑new visual identity.

The Brand New Visual Identity

Simyo revolves around simplicity, quality, and service. Value for your money. Making things easier by offering only options that truly benefit you and are of high quality. With the new visual identity, Simyo aimed to convey the image of the strong player they are, with affordable rates. This meant bidding farewell to Simyo's old visual identity. It was time for a new identity that exudes strength.

A New Era of Powerful Confidence Simyo wants to project what it is: powerful, cheerful, and friendly. We developed a new visual identity that does just that. The logo has been simplified and made more powerful, with orange as the core color, accentuated by added colors to emphasize commercial strength and brand sympathy. With a confident and fresh brand voice, Simyo acquired a recognizable personality that seamlessly aligns with the new visual identity. The new identity offers countless application possibilities and strengthens Simyo's position in the mobile provider market.

MakerStreet x Simyo

Extra Power with Interim Specialists

Over the past years, we collaborated with Simyo on a project basis, deploying entire interim teams or individuals on‑site. We tailored our working approach to the specific needs, aiming to build the best solutions together. Entire interim teams of digital specialists worked side by side with the people of Simyo on the renewal of the Customer Portal and the new Phoneshop.

A Enhanced Customer Portal

The Customer Portal was in need of a refresh. To achieve this, we provided a team of digital interim professionals to various teams at Simyo. Our front‑end developers collaborated on the redesign of the Customer Portal. In this environment, customers can independently adjust their bundles, cancel or extend subscriptions, and view their invoices and usage.

New Phoneshop

Simyo also ventured into offering mobile phones. Introducing a new product also meant creating a new platform for its purchase. Our interim UX Designers contributed to its development: the Phoneshop. They worked on conversion optimization (A/B testing) and conceptualized and designed all sales funnels.

All of this was aimed at supporting Simyo's ambitious growth targets without increasing the pressure on customer service. Consequently, efforts were made to explore how customers could handle more tasks themselves in the app and how service flows on the website could be enhanced. Currently, our specialists, in collaboration with Simyo's team, are continuously working on optimizations, such as improving the chatbot. This ongoing collaboration ensures that we continue to build an even better platform together, post the successful initial release.

A Tin Wedding Anniversary

For over 10 years, we've collaborated with Simyo on numerous digital products, both on a project basis and as interim support—whatever suits the needs best.
